Ed Speleers was considered for role of Finn in ‘Star Wars’

Actor Ed Speleers has revealed that he auditioned for the role of Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Speleers, 27, said he met with the film’s director J.J. Abrams, but things did not work out, reported Digital Spy.

“To be fair, as I didn’t get it, I suppose I can turn round now and say yes, I was considered. I auditioned and had meetings with J.J. Abrams and screen tests,” he said.

Character of Finn is played by John Boyega in the film.
