With ‘Gerua’, the first track released from Dilwale, the hit pair of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol is back on the big screen. Sung by Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra, the song – composed by Pritam Chakraborty – strives to bring back the onscreen chemistry of the Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge pair.
‘Gerua’, which was shot in a start-to-finish schedule in seven days, was primarily filmed in Iceland. In a press statement, Shah Rukh Khan said, “Since Kajol and I are coming back together onscreen after years, Rohit (its director) felt that we should try and make ‘Gerua’ stand out better than all the other songs we have done earlier.”
The Rohit Shetty directorial also stars Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Johnny Lever, Boman Irani and Sanjay Mishra. It will be released on December 18.
