Humour in horror
Director Vadivudaiyan is happy with how the climax of his upcoming movie Sowcarpettai has shaped up. "The scene was a challenge to shoot. We had to hire a crane to suspend both Srikanth and Raai Laxmi at the end of a rope at a height of 150 feet. The sequence will have some extreme violence and will keep the viewers on the edge of their seats. Srikanth has delivered a great performance and plays dual roles. Even though it's a horror film, there is humour throughout,"says Vadivudaiyan, who has already started work on his next Bharath-starrer Pottu. Sowcarpettai will release next month.
Ominous signs
Manon, who is making Ka Ka Ka, believes that revenge in never the answer. Through the film, this is the message he wants to propagate. "The hero (Ashok) returns from the U.S. after his father decides to wind up his family business. He then moves into his ancestral home where strange things begin to happen,"says Manon. Megashree plays the hero's wife and the producer, Kiran, also has a crucial role to play in the film.
